3W (Executive Interim Management) in the hands of Smart Human Capital Group NV

From December 1, 2018, Smart Human Capital Group NV, the entrepreneurial couple Boudewijn Dupont and his wife Kim Ciers, take over the business unit “3W Executive Interim Management” from The Adecco Group Belgium. Dupont was appointed as managing director of 3W in Adecco in April 2016 and is now realizing a management buy-out. Dupont is also a member of the Board of Directors of Federgon, the Interim Management committee.

The agreement was realized because the activities of 3W are better aligned with the activities of Smart Human Capital Group NV, which already offers consultancy to support SMEs, growth companies and multinationals through the ‘Business Coaches Network’ brand.

“When I became managing director of 3W in 2016, a completely new world opened up for me “, says Boudewijn Dupont. “With its 22 years of existence, 3W has been able to build a gigantic network of more than 7,000 High-Level hands-on profiles, with experience in all disciplines and sectors. The solutions that we can offer to our companies as a result are phenomenal and goal-oriented. “

Due to the management buy-out that Boudewijn Dupont realizes, two strong brands, 3W and the Business Coaches Network are brought under Smart Human Capital Group. This creates a bridge between consultancy and interim management, allowing the company to grow rapidly.

Marleen Deleu from NextConomy spoke with Boudewijn about his plans for the future:

The Adecco Group Belgium sells the activities to focus on its core tasks: offering temporary and permanent staffing to business customers.

“The partnership between 3W and the Business Coaches Network already resulted in strong cooperation. In consultation with the current managers, it was decided that they could expand the division better on their own. The agreement gives both The Adecco Group and the new owners of 3W the opportunity to further their activities. Both companies will also continue to work together: The Adecco Group is rolling out a referral program to support the executive interim management activities “says Nico Reeskens, Country Manager at The Adecco Group Belgium.

No redundancies are involved in the takeover. The 3W managers stay on post and also take over the 3W staff. The amount of money involved in the transaction will not be disclosed. 3W will continue to focus on interim management, executive recruitment, management buy-in & business coaching. Their offices are located in Brussels and Antwerp.
