URGENT: Set up of a Shared Service Center for Finance

Our Client, NMBS or SNCB is urgently looking for an experienced Project Manager to help set up a Shared Service Center for the Finance Department.

Description de la fonction

- Design & general follow-up of the project: scope and quality, deadlines, goals to be reached, risks, milestones, reporting to hierarchy and EXCOM;

- In particular design of the future organization & of the main functionalities provided by the new or modified entities following the planned reorganization;

- Identification of the complete or partial resources to be transferred to the new entities and obtaining an agreement on these transfers with the departments concerned, with the support of SNCB Finance management;

- Define, plan and organize the transition to "run" mode, including the determination of the resources to be mobilized for the entity, and primarily the role and function of the SSC "Run" manager;

- Ensure and support the transition with the final "RUN" manager of the SNCB SSC;

- The daily follow-up of the project: control of the respect of the timing, control of the budget and collaboration of all stakeholders.

exigences de l'emploi

- Senior profile (at least 10 years of experience of which at least 3 in the field of SSC)

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Fluently bilingual (FR and NL) and good knowledge of English

- Charismatic

- Accustomed to working in a climate of resistance and to defuse inhibitors and obstructions to the smooth running of the project

- Accustomed to having discussions and presentations in Management Committee

- Experience in finance and administration (essential)

- Specific experience in the successful implementation of a Shared Service Center Finance (essential)

- Experience in a large public company is an asset

The assignment will have a maximum duration of 240 days (60 days + 180 optional days).

Mission objectives:

- Set up a detailed mission plan for an implementation starting in 2023, a "light" project structure by mobilizing and identifying internal contributors, organize governance and validation meetings;

- Define the scope of activities and processes that will be managed by the Shared Service Center;

- Describe the AS IS and TO BE processes taking into account the upcoming evolutions in the deployment of the Sherpa/SAP4Hana and SAP Ariba projects;
