Introduction


For our client active in the Service Sector, we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Manager. You will lead a team of 5 FTE and report to the Country Manager.

Duration: September until December

Location: Brussels


Function information


You will be responsible for all marketing and communication activities (Product Management, Advertising & Promotion, PR & Communication, ...) with a view to realizing strategic organizational goals.

Based on the chosen segmentation strategy, define the relevant marketing and communication activities and work out a concrete plan.

Compiling and implementing the marketing plan & budget, in consultation with the Country Manager. In this context, developing a strong market position is key. There is also a reconciliation with the Regional Marketing Director Northern Europe.

Organizing both client marketing & sales actions, coordinating marketing communication and operational follow-up of the Corporate Responsibility Program.

  • The amount of inflow, awareness, likability and customer satisfaction
  • The efficient deployment and correct management of the marketing and communication budget
  • Reconciliation with other departments in the field.
  • Timely completion of the agreed product developments and approved marketing projects.

Requirements


Important Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience, with both B2C and B2B marketing approach
  • Strategic thinking, hands-on, leading by example, also operationally strong
  • Experience with a decentralized organization (network of offices), Service minded
  • Good knowledge of social media / e-marketing, direct marketing and traditional media channels - no specialist, rather generalist.
  • Sales oriented - Marketing is to make and keep a customer!
  • Well organized - structured, yet flexible
  • Strong communicator
  • Creatively strong
  • Experience with advertising agencies and PR
  • Efficiently working with relatively small budgets
  • Language knowledge: fluent NL, F, E
  • IT skills: Knowledge Office / Windows, good basic knowledge content management systems / sharepoint / emailgarage
