CEO - Buy-In Manager SaaS scale-up

This is a unique opportunity to be actively involved in scaling up, building and leading a Belgian based SaaS company, that has been able to acquire a strong international position already in a niche market following a series A funding rounds. 

The company has already reached break-even and grows well organically.  The company has customers in 35 countries, proof of customer retention for over 4 years, low churn rate and a constant lead inflow of new users with limited marketing efforts and budgets. The application they developed is perfectly positioned to benefit from an untapped niche market at the early stage of digitization offering significant simplification and ease-of-use. 

They are now looking for an experienced CEO and buy-in manager who can help them to ensure rapid expansion into other important market segments.  The goal is to to ensure fast growth in key markets such as the US, Europe and the Arab world. A new funding round with external investors is under way in order to be able to finance this next stage of the expansion. 

This is really a phenomenal opportunity for a hands-on, proactive, sales focused and truly entrepreneurial leader from the B2B SaaS space that has a proven track record of scaling a SaaS business before.


Key objective is to build scalable and performant sales and marketing processes and the associated (intternational) organization driving growth at a fast rate in line with current SaaS sales best practices.

Assuming full responsibility for the strategic commercial initiatives of the business.

Build and implement a business plan that delivers the next phase of growth for the company

Take ownership of the P&L, resources, budgets and headcount 

Work closely with the founders and the Board to ensure rapid knowledge transfer and ensure a seamless transfer of responsibility and leadership

Carefully review the current business and the plans for future growth and hire exceptional talent

Liaise with all stakeholders including current shareholders, Private Equity partners and banks 

Constantly assess opportunities for improved efficiencies, new business opportunities and new technologies or other automation that helps drive growth


A hands-on entrepreneur with proven track record in a scaling SaaS business and can show that their actions as the commercial leader has driven that growth in both startups and established businesses.

Prior experience in international sales and business development with a specialist B2B SaaS solution sold to SMB owners. Experience in CRM solution would be an added value!

Will have revolutionized sales and marketing to deliver growth in a worldwide niche market that still has tremendous growth opportunity

Experience in leading multi-functional international teams

Ability to hire exceptional talent into the business having honed these skills over many years of building teams


A competitive package consisting of a fixed remuneration, a variable remuneration based upon performance and a  buy-in share package of a maximum of 25%.  The future value of the share package will constitute of course a substantial part of the overall package.
