This is an exciting job opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a passion for food and more specifically bread! You coach and supervise around 40-50 employees and optimize the operation on one their production sites. 

Fine Food Bread delivers tasty and high-quality bread to Colruyt Group stores, has years of expertise and counts 4 production sites, 1 in Zele and 3 in Lokeren.

• You are a real people manager: you coach and supervise a diverse team of about 45 employees. You motivate them to achieve the proposed objectives.
• You coach your team in their personal and professional development.
• You create a positive working environment in which your co-workers enjoy their job and get along with each other.
• You monitor the achievement of operational objectives (safety, quality, volumes, service to internal partners, etc.)
• You take the lead in various projects and working groups (continuous improvement, quality, new production lines, etc.).
• You make an efficient production planning and follow up the products from raw material to the delivery to the customer.
• You work closely with your fellow production managers and other parties involved (technical service, quality service, logistics department, etc.).

• Knowledge and experience - You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent through experience. You have at least 5 years in a managerial position. You are familiar with a food production environment.  A technical background is a plus.
• Curious mind - You are willing to learn continuously, have a broad view on different technical aspects and you dare to question them.
• Leadership - You can coach and motivate a team with your natural enthusiasm, self-confidence, and good communication skills. And you get satisfaction out of it!
• Precision and organization - You are good at planning and organizing (for example, you are responsible for time sheets and leave schedules).  You are structured and precise. In addition, you strictly apply the safety, production, hygiene, and work instructions guidelines.
• Communicatiion - You communicate clearly and openly. You dare to give your opinion and you argue your points of view in a correct and respectful way.
• You are used to working in a matrix organization.
• Language skills - You communicate fluently in Dutch; French is a plus, so you can work well together with all your colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
